I dont know if this is intended but i think there is a bug with mirror and fire ring. The mirror does not mimmic fire ring, i can understand that, i think it would be a little too good. But when the fire ring is up, and the Mirror spawns in, it retains the fire ring, until the fire ring runs out, then cant get it again until it spawns in again when the fire ring is active. Again i dont know if thats intended, but i think its a bug.
Edit: I also just found out it works with all mirrored clones, no matter how many, so though i dont think its game braking, maybe late game it could be abused a lot.
Edit2: I did some testing, spamming fire ring and mirror upgrades, and this COMPLETELY SHREDS BOSSES, it is a little rng on whether you get it correct, but when you have a total of 5 fire rings, you can
1. space further away
2. deal more total damage to bigger enemys
So i think this should get fixed, as much as i love it.
I noticed once that the magnet item did not disappear and found out that you can only have 8 items in your bag. Any new item above that will stay on the ground forever allowing you to get it infinite times.
What I did in the picture was to get weapons that unlock items in chests (shuriken, molotov, ice sword) and leave the experience bonus item on the floor on purpose.
When I got my eighth item I could get the experience bonus infinite times and lvl up like crazy
I also broke through the wall at the speed of about 23. But it only happens really occasionally at then.
Things became out of control after the number reaches 40. With X2 game speed, the character moves like a crazy roach. It feels like...breaking through the barrier before the game defining it.
Maybe there could be some thresholds, or changing some rules from multiplicative stacking to additive. Or just keep it the way it is, as a softcore handy lil game.
Anyway I've noticed this game for weeks. really enjoyed how it becomes better everyday.
Level 200 in 179 minutes. RIP when I noticed that I was playing the web version and can't save D:

Here are some things that annoyed me a bit while doing this:
The gold I feel like should just automatically drop from monsters and not be in chests, just like the experience points.
The CLEAR MAP reward is the most annoying tbh. It'd be great if there was a filter maybe for what drops and what doesn't that the player can pick real-time. Like a menu or something where you filter the drops out, or it should just kill the monsters and leave their exp and whatever drops from them kinda like a NUKE.
Alright now to the bosses:
I liked the bosses, the scythe one was easy you just run away and it keeps following you, so maybe that needs a bit of improvement to its skills or smth.
The other bosses were great, it took me a while to kill them, Especially the last one, Vengeful. I died to it like 5 or 6 times. :(
Ideas to add:
Active skills to enhance gameplay
Achievements that give permanent stat boosts, just like in games. EX: Killed 10 boss monsters, 20% DMG boost against boss monsters. etc...
Combos are a great idea I liked those. That's all I got to say about this game. It was great. Thanks for posting this :)))
Hey! The game was super fun, I played it a few days ago on stream and enjoyed it a lot. The music was very fitting, the pixel style looked very nice! My favorite class was the dwarf guy, but of course as soon as I play this game and edit a video there are new classes updated into the game! I played more since, very fun. Keep up the good updates and game development!
The game does get laggy late game, with the enemies and especially the tornado glitch the post under mines says, but it's mostly the enemies, is there a way you could get the "clear screen" thingy a higher chance of obtaining it from chests?
Bug report: if you're in the level up screen and you press pause and then continue, the game will continue while in the level up screen, making you able to skip picking an upgrade
i found a glitch! i call it the reject my hand glitch. if u lvup and only get bad choices press pause and bring up the pause menu (yes it will work) press continue and the the game will resume but u have still the 3 cards in ur hand
if u lvup again it will give u 3 more cards (yes u can hold more then 3 at once) u can choose 1 option from there and all others will be discarded. i use it on lowlvs if i get stuff i dont want for my run. may this can gget an feature instead? that we can hold multiple draws and just get additional cards every lvup? who knows
I know we just got a Shuriken combo, but it was one I wasn't expecting, I was expecting one between Soul Knife and Shuriken, since they are almost the same I think it would become a neutral combo, not to overpowered but not bad, like boom and buble
I know that u are working on a lot of things but hear me out on this... engineer class. I would not care about the shape shifter guy but the engineer class would be all oringinal and would be sick! and thank u some much for trying to add our ideas into ur game!
ca i suggest combo? Tornado + Ice sword upgrades tornados with ability to throw around enemies and freeze them! also another thing cant we consumpt the skills that upgrade other skills? this way charackter can become stronger, may in exchange give 5% more exp in overall or so.
well foundan solution make sure the game runs on the dedicated GPU, the intel intergrated graphics till 6-8 gen will not like all that stuff going on at the same time, may make an info that its better to run the game on dedicated gpu, lategame is just that much of a hell, my 1060 have no problem running it ( even on x2 speed and lv 119 72: mins in)
Also for some reason after I pick up a kill everything power up my game crashed? I think it either tried to calculate all the drops or from something else
Ok great game, but the skeleton archers can shoot projectiles while frozen idk about the other creatures that can
4th boss can do it as well, I'm going to assume that all projectiles can be fired while they are frozen
Also, there may be a spawning problem for 20+ minutes, the 4th boss usually has a horde around it that keeps on growing, 25+ minutes is when it gets too laggy for my computer and the 4th boss can survive up to 30+ minutes when you have a set that doesn't have good piercing

Very good game, however I am a bit confused on what exactly luck does. Also it is a bit hard to scroll through the character select
Click and drag or touchscreen
Luck makes experience gems more common/ gets higher gem things. I use a lot of luck and later i get like a red gem every 3 seconds

I stop playing for a month, and come back, to almost a whole new game.
can the sensitivity for the scrolling on the character picker screen higher? its kinda broken.
Frozen Ranged enemies still attack. . .
Also instead of adding new things you should spend an update fixing bugs

If the target is continuously hit with bullets, it will be infinite

Tornados are bugged here, they are so many on lategame here that it results to game laag like hell
approx 50 tornados on screen, love them, but the perfomance hit is so big.

dont missunderstand it, i LOVE tornados, but they dont have be so many that i start to laag. 10 tornados would be fine. but not 30
Maybe you could add another character like a Juggernaut with lots of health but a big, slow-hitting attack, like a hammer or something.

idk if somebody already said it but, tornado is teleporting to random positions when activated and thats kinda funny but i think it's a bug
this happens if u have activated tornado/s and then u get an popup (chest or lvup) i find it fun

don't worry, we can have multiple combos for one weapon
In the newest update meat is not suppose to be dropped by boss chests, yet the first one I get it drops a meat

current time mage complete stage @ 31:28 under heavy lags. proably could do better with no lags. mage is underrated

wierd the sunshine(killall) powerup does not give any drops moreover it delets everything except chests
